The Challenge
GFA International (Global Fine Arts Pte Ltd) brings large-scale South Indian concerts and cultural shows to Singapore and Malaysia. Like most promoters in the region, it relied on third-party ticketing platforms. That meant paying platform fees on every ticket, having no ownership of buyer data, and having no direct control over the checkout journey that the marketing was driving people to.
In early 2026 Wonkrew ran the Meta ads for GFA's Agam concert in Singapore, which was ticketed through SISTIC. The campaign worked (see the Agam Concert case study), but it highlighted the gap: GFA was paying a third party for every ticket, and the buyer data stayed with that third party.
This case covers only the events ticketed on Wonkrew's own platform. Results from the Agam concert (March 2026) are in the Agam Concert case study.
What We Did
A Custom Ticketing Website
We built gfainternational.com with event pages for each show, seat categories and pricing per show, and seat-level booking with seat maps across categories such as VIP, Gold, Silver and Balcony. Online checkout and payment deliver instant e-tickets. One platform runs multiple events in multiple countries, with SGD and MYR shows side by side, and full GA4 and Meta pixel e-commerce tracking means every sale is attributed to its channel.
A Door Scanner App
Staff scan e-tickets at the venue entrance. The app prevents duplicate entry and gives live check-in counts on the night.
Event Marketing
Meta ads for each show, with awareness, sales and retargeting campaigns run separately for Singapore and Malaysia audiences. Organic social on Instagram and Facebook kept fans engaged between campaigns, and SEO helps the site rank for show and artist searches.
Events ticketed on the platform:
| Event | Country | Status |
|---|---|---|
| ANASFA Utsav | Singapore | Completed |
| Nandagovindam Singapore | Singapore | Completed |
| Thaikkudam Bridge Live in Singapore | Singapore | Completed |
| Nandagovindam Malaysia | Malaysia | Ticketing completed on the platform; event postponed by the organiser |
The Results
Platform
SGD 250,000+ in ticket sales and 5,000+ tickets sold across 4 events in Singapore and Malaysia, all through the Wonkrew-built platform. GA4 tracked 1,069 online orders from June to October 2026, and SGD 40,800+ in ticket sales came from Google organic search alone over the same period.
Totals are from GFA's platform records. GA4 independently shows SGD 226K and about 2,500 seats sold from June to October 2026 alone. GA4 tracking started in June, so earlier sales are not in it.
Marketing (Meta Ads, January to October 2026)
SGD 10,190 in ad spend tracked SGD 91,635 in ticket revenue, a return on ad spend of about 9x. The campaigns reached 2.49 million people and drove 836,000+ video views.
Best performing campaigns:
| Campaign | Spend | Orders | Tracked revenue | ROAS |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nandagovindam Singapore | SGD 811 | 116 | SGD 22,580 | ~28x |
| Thaikkudam Bridge Singapore (sales) | SGD 4,353 | 205 | SGD 57,774 | ~13x |
| Thaikkudam Bridge Singapore (retargeting) | SGD 440 | 27 | SGD 4,747 | ~11x |
| Nandagovindam Malaysia (sales) | SGD 502 | 37 | SGD 4,802 | ~10x |
Key Takeaway
Owning the checkout. Marketing sends buyers to a page GFA controls, so every ad, post and search result can be measured down to the ticket.
One platform, many shows. Each new event is set up on the same system instead of being rebuilt or handed to a third party.
Marketing and tech from one team. The people building the funnel are the people running the ads, so tracking, landing pages and campaigns stay aligned.
