Competing with Funded Platforms Using a WordPress Website
The online tax and business registration space in India is dominated by venture-funded platforms like Vakilsearch, ClearTax, and IndiaFilings. These companies have spent crores building technology platforms, SEO content farms, and paid acquisition funnels. They rank for nearly every business registration and tax compliance search query in India.
TaxKey needed a website that could compete for visibility and credibility against these national platforms, but with the budget and resources of a local professional services firm. The site needed to accomplish three things simultaneously: catalogue a massive range of services so visitors can find exactly what they need, educate prospects on complex compliance topics to build trust before they enquire, and position TaxKey as a credible alternative to the big platforms by demonstrating depth of expertise.
What We Did
75+ Service Pages Organised Across Six Mega Menu Categories
The defining feature of the TaxKey website is its scale. Wonkrew built and organised 75+ individual service pages, each with dedicated content developed by Wonkrew from basic inputs and references provided by TaxKey, into six primary navigation categories:
Business Registration (17 pages). Seven business entity types (Private Limited Company, LLP, OPC, Sole Proprietorship, Partnership Firm, Public Limited Company, HUF), PAN and TAN registration, six business conversion paths (Proprietorship to Pvt Ltd, Partnership to LLP, Private to Public Limited, etc.), and Company Name Search. Each page explains the entity type, eligibility criteria, required documents, process steps, and pricing.
Tax & Compliance (30 pages). This is the largest section and covers company annual compliance for Pvt Ltd and LLP, nine types of changes to a Private Limited Company (add/remove director, change capital, change address, change name, auditor appointment, annual e-KYC, closure), five GST services (registration, return filing, annual filings, amendments, appeals), seven accounting and tax services (bookkeeping, TDS/TCS filing, income tax filing, tax notices, income tax audit, due diligence audit, secretarial audit), four labour compliance services (PF, ESI, Shops & Establishments, HR & Payroll), and three LLP change services.
License & Certification (14 pages). Seven trademark services (registration, search, objection response, logo design, watch, renewal, hearing), six licenses and registrations (DSC, UDYAM, FSSAI, IEC, ISO, Professional Tax), and Startup India registration.
